It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

badge
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving – those who celebrate. I had my fairly usual week. I did watch the 2020 movie of Emma on Netflix. I really enjoyed it, seeing some  familiar actors. I thought Emma was portrayed well, not quite so sure about Mr. Knightley. However I haven’t read the book but now I think I will listen to it at some time in the future.

What I read last week:

I enjoyed Legacy on audiobook, January LaVoy is such a good narrator.  Roisin Meaney is a new to me author – Irish. I thought it was good and I’d certainly give another book by her a go.  Meg and Jo – a modern retelling of part of Little Women. Interesting take.

What I am reading now:

A review blog tour book.

Sleigh Bells Ring

Listening to…

One of the cozy mystery series I am enjoying and this is #5 and brings me up to date.

  1. I somehow have yet to see any Emma adaptations! I’m not 100% sure I’ve ever read the book. I need to fix that. I enjoyed Hideaway very much too and love January LaVoy as a narrator. The Jenny Colgan book looks wonderful and I enjoyed the Allison Brook. I’m glad to see you enjoyed Roisin Meaney book. She’s been on my TBR for awhile but I haven’t had the easiest time finding her books here. Have a great week!

  2. These books will certainly get you into the Christmas spirit! I’ve been meaning to read something by RaeAnne Thayne, so maybe I should go for a Christmas one. I might get it from the library by February! 😀
