It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Hope you all had a good Christmas – I did. The weather was reasonably good but since then it has turned quite chilly – coming into mid Summer! Oh well!
What I read last week:
Really liked this one, its a review book, I think it publishes in February.
What I am reading now:

It was nice to have a white Christmas, but now it can go away. No such luck I am afraid. Glad yours was nice. I thought I requested the new Susan Mallery book, I will have to check that out.

Aria’s Traveling Book Shop has my curiosity as well! I’m currently in the last 50 pages of President Obama’s latest memoir. It will be an achievement to finish it since it’s so long (but good!). 🙂

Not a white Christmas for us this year but we had a dusting last night. I can still see the grass so it really doesn’t count. I’m so glad to see you enjoyed the new Mallery book. I have it as well and need to read for a blog tour near the pub. date. Have a good final week of the year, Kathryn.

We had an official white christmas in the UK, though the closest we came in the East Midlands was some sleet on Christmas Eve 😂. So glad to hear you had a good time. Happy New Year!

I’m glad you had a lovely Christmas Kathryn. It’s been raining and overcast here for the last two weeks, practically the opposite weather from last year.
