It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from
Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at
The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of
Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Hope you are all well and staying clear of storms etc. We had a kind of cold week so it was a good one to stay mostly indoors and read! Not complaining!
What I read last week:
Met Her Match is a review book. Ellie and the Harp Maker a library book – one I really liked, a debut novel, and one that I’ve just recently bought. I am a big K. A. Tucker fan and Coming Home for Christmas is another review book.
What I am reading now:
One from the library which is from the Modern Mrs Darcy Summer Reading Guide
And still listening to a J. D. Robb book.
Up next:
From my own bookshelf

We wish for storms. Still having warm weather but sometimes the morning is very cold. Peeks of fall are showing through but right now we’re in the 80’s.

How are the audios for the J.D. Robb books? I’ve read them all but not listened to any.

The audios of these books are superb, if I happen to read one I hear the audio now in my head. Now that I am all caught up its the only way I read them.

I hope you’re all storm-free and safe over there? We had a cold snap a few days ago and it’s all starting to feel very autumnal here. Time to cosy up or drive south!!

I haven’t had a chance to read K A Tucker but will look at her (his?) book list. Have a good week and enjoy the Moyes book (haven’t read it).

K A Tucker (Kathleen) is a Canadian author. This wasn’t her best one, but I do enjoy her.

It’s been very windy here, and while mostly the weather is mild, midweek it randomly reached 33c.
