It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Hi everyone. I had a mixed bag of reading this week. I loved Under the Southern Sky via audiobook, Scandal in Skibbereen just didn’t grab me, the Irish bit is good but the story was too slow.
What I read last week:
What I am reading now:
And enjoying…
And I am listening to
Up next:
I need a fast paced book – so this library book may just fulfil that need!
Hello There! As usual, you’ve posted some great reads! The Secret Book and Scone Society sounds fun and interesting!

I am sorry Scandal in Skibbereen wasn’t better for you but am glad you enjoyed Under the Southern Sky. I hope you are enjoying your current reads! I have heard good things about Viola Shipman and am curious about her Clover Girls. Ellery Adams’ series is also one I would like to try someday. I hope you have a great week, Kathryn!

Too bad about the Connolly – I like the series but I don’t think it’s the strongest cozy series and can be a bit inconsistent. Under the Southern Sky looks amazing and this is an author I’ve really been wanting to read. I’m curious to hear what you think of the Ellery Adams. She’s an author I see all the time but haven’t read many books by her.

Okay Katherine I am not an Ellery Adams cozy fan! Liking this one very much, the characters are fun and don’t know where the mystery is going yet but I am going to have to read all four books in this series!

I read the Secret, Book, and Scone society not too long ago, but cozies are generally not for me. I think it may have been a great audio, though. Have a great week!

I have the Scone book in my audio library so I’ll watch for your thoughts. 🙂
I think Webb is usually good for a fast paced read.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!
