It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Well welcome into the first IMWAYR for January and 2021. Hope it will be a better year this time. We shall see. I didn’t see the New Year in, I turned on a podcast and fell asleep, thought I had set the timer for an hour but must not, because my list was all gone when I checked. I had listened to it! Just as well they are easy to recover.

What I read last week:

Trevor Noah’s memoir on audible was just amazing. I really enjoyed my first book of the year Knot in my Backyard, and King’s Ransom was my last book of the year.

I love a good audiobook. A well written book in the hands of a really good narrator is the ultimate. I am just looking ahead to what I want to pick up very soon to listen to. I am not sure which will be first, but it will be one from this list.
