It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Hope you all had a great week. We went into daylight savings on the weekend so springing forward. I don’t mind that, its the gaining an hour that throws me.

We have a public holiday in honour of the Queen’s life here – I know a little late, but our Prime Minister only arrives back now after being overseas.

What I read last week:

A good reading week. Yikes, I read The Bodyguard in a day. So enjoyable.

  1. I’m the exact opposite with the time change! Springing forward kills me every year and by the time we get to the fall back I feel like I’m barely making it. I’m on the waiting list for The Bodyguard and am really looking forward to it! Have a wonderful week!

  2. I love getting my stolen hour back! Now we have to wait till early November for it, though. I have to put a hold on Lessons in Chemistry. The library holds list is still really long, I believe.

  3. That’s funny – I don’t mind Fall Back but have terrible problems with Spring Forward – it’s all about what it does to my waking time for me!

Looks like a wonderful assortment of books for you. Wow, The Bodyguard must have been great! And Low Country Boil must be set in my part of the world 🙂 Though we are just a bit north of there. And I want to read Lessons in Chemistry, too! So many rave reviews this summer!

Enjoy your books, Kathryn – and thanks for hosting the linkup! I love the opportunity to connect with other bloggers.

  4. I loved The Bodyguard too. Such a fun, easy read. I have been seeing people rave about Lessons in Chemistry. I need to get it read. Have a great week!

  5. Oh man the Spring time change also really gets me even though I am retired. I just wish they would abolish it all and keep the same time all year. Your week looks good here it’s finally cooling off after a hot hot summer
