It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Welcome all. Hope you are all enjoying life. Mine was a good week filled with all the things I like to do. I took some days off from blogging and visiting and that was great too!
What I read last week:
What I am reading now:
I am still listening to In the Middle of Hickory Lane and my slow and steady read is A Gentleman from Moscow.
Up next:
I usually listen on audio to this series by Allison Brook but this one I am reading from NetGalley. It’s a series I do enjoy. This is #6.

A Certain Darkness and Dewey Decimated are both coming up on my book list and I’m looking forward to both. A week doing all the things you like to do sounds perfect and I hope this week is much the same!

Sounds like a lovely week, Kathryn. And you started A Gentleman in Moscow! Such a great book. I think you will get to the point where you will no longer be able to read it slowly – the story and characters are just so compelling. Enjoy that and your other books!

I love coming here to get reading inspiration! I like your idea of a vacay from blogging/reading. I really need to do that.

Linda sometimes blogging gets tedious, but I love touching base with so many readers (and Quilters) as well!

Sometimes it is nice to take a break from our hobbies and come back with a fresh appreciation.
I need to read A Gentleman from Moscow. I really like The Rules of Civility back when I read it.
Enjoy your week!

I read The Summer Place and liked it. The cover of Everything Must Go looks like my daughter when she moved. Ha! (Added to my list!)
Have a great week!
