It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Hope you are all getting by well. Late Autumn is signalling winter here and the last few nights that’s meant two quilts on the bed!

I’ve been reading and a little visiting and some viewing. Now the nights have closed in its easier to sit by the fire and catch up on some TV shows. I was delighted to find Season 2 of All Creatures Great and Small had dropped here while I wasn’t looking so one of the shows I am indulging in.

What I read last week:

What I am reading now:

And Listening to…. Bloomsbury Girls

  1. I’m thinking about Big Book Summer reads now! I think for those on your side of the globe, it’s Big Book Winter, which might work better for me, actually! I liked The Library at the Edge of the World, and have read one of the other books set there by the author, but I forget which one at the moment. Maybe the Christmas one?

  2. The novel I’m currently reading is A Tale for the Time Being, and thanks to the library, I have the eBook, the hardback, and also listening on audio when I’m in the car. And it’s still taking me weeks! lol. But it’s good so I’m not rushing.

  3. Warming up in my part of the world. My peonies are blooming and I’ve planted my small veg garden. Sounds like your cooler days are cozy and filled with good activities. Have a good week, Kathryn.

  4. I really want autumn/winter. Here in Belgium we’re going into summer soon and I don’t want it. I’m happy it’ll be summer vacation but not summer time 😆

  5. South of Buttonwood Tree sounds intriguing. Bloomsbury Girls and The Library at the Edge of the World are both on my TBR. I enjoy reading books about books/readers!
It sounds strange to hear you preparing for winter when we are entering the height of summer heat! Enjoy your cozy home and hobbies!

  6. That sounds like a nice show. It is cozy sometimes in the autumn when the days get shorter to settle in and watch some good TV.

    Be well this week 🙂

  7. I have The Bloomsbury Girls on my TBR. I really enjoyed The Jane Austen Society (which is strange, because I don’t like Jane Austen), so I have high hopes. Have a great week!
