It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Hope all is well. Happy reading.

All of the books you’ve read are either on my TBR or I’ve read and really enjoyed. Debra Webb is on my TBR as well. I need to get at least one holiday read in before Christmas this year and am trying to decide between the Jenny Colgan or the RaeAnne Thayne. Both look fantastic so fingers crossed I get to at least one of them.

I have to tell you that The Thursday Murder Club is HILARIOUS and you’ll want to hang out with all of the characters forever. My sister in law suggested this after I had finished Ann Patchett’s lovely These Precious Days, but I needed a light lift. BOY, is this author wonderful for that. I have so many titles I love. How to put them all anywhere…..a big challenge. But I loved Anxious People, too, and The Paper Palace, up for awards on Goodreads.

You’re listening to Love and Lavender. Yay!! I hope the listening experience will be as fantastic as reading it. If you don’t mind my asking, what platform are you using to listen? Audible? I would love to see who is narrating it.

Yes I am enjoying it, after reading your review. Justine Eyre is narrating and she is very good. I got it from Audible.

I hope she captures Duncan’s character well enough. 🙂
Reading Duncan’s dialogue had me chuckling so many times just imagining him saying it.

I think she does capture Duncan, but… it depends because as you read it, you will have formed an idea of him and how he speaks!
