It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

What I read last week:

Another good reading week. I read the first two of the Sue Barton books – a nostalgic read as I read a few of them as a young person, but never read them all but always hankered for them. At some expense I bought the series from Amazon and now have finally begun to read them. I don’t know why but I thought they had been set in England but of course they are set in the USA.

What I am reading now:

I am organising myself to go right back to the beginning of the romantic suspense series by Karen Rose. This is the very first one she published. I have read a lot of the later ones but not the earlier ones.

  1. I immediately thought the Sue Barton books were set in England based off the covers! Not sure why as I’m guessing nurses uniforms were probably pretty universal. They do sound lovely and a nostalgia read can be such fun. The Karen Rose book looks good and I have really been enjoying romantic suspense lately.

  2. You had a good week. Interesting to read an older series. I read some of Karen Rose’s earlier books. I hope you enjoy going back into the series.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!
