It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.
Hope you are all doing well. We had a very sunny week, but this week looks like the weather is going to be windy and wet mostly. Most people go back to work here as the country gets back to normal after the summer break. Of course as I am retired it doesn’t really mean too much to me, although its nice to have everything back.
What I read last week:
Enjoyed them all. Two were almost finished as I began the week so that gave me four for this week!
What I am reading now:
One for review.
Up next:
Time to take one of my print TBR.
A good variety that you got through here. We are in the 60’s here in California and some on and off rain of late.

My weather is predicting snow next week, but I hope that’s just a little joke on the part of the weatherpeople and they change their tune.

We’re just heading into the depths of winter in mid-January here, but had a mild weekend. Winter’s trying to lull us into thinking it isn’t so bad, after all! I’m jealous of retirees’ reading time, but happy that you’re enjoying your books and your blogging! I wanted to listen to the Royal Spyness books on audio but had trouble finding the very first one. Need to check again now that the library has so much more downloadable audio available!

Ah, sunshine wounds lovely! We seem to be having an unusually cloudy January here – not much rain and no snow but day after day of gray, overcast skies – it’s getting me down. I need my sunshine! Please send some our way, Kathryn!
Looks like a wonderful variety of books and a good reading week for you.
Hope you enjoy your books again this week – and thanks for hosting the link-up!

I enjoyed Love at First. Setting, characters were right in my sweet spot. My area of the US is in the middle of snow, ice, frigid temps, etc. Normally I would have embraced hibernation time but since we’ve been in a permanent state of hibernation for almost a year I’m ready for a change, you know? Hopefully in the spring. Have a good week, Kathryn!

Happy Monday Kathryn, its been cold, windy and dreary here in the US Midwest and I too even though I’m retired always enjoyed the return to “normal” after summer break. I wonder if I can experience that this year?
I just finished The Museum of Forgotten Memories and reviewed it on the blog today, I’m listening to The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah a historical novel set in the depression and dust bowl and I’m just starting book 3 of Donna Augustine’s Tales of Xest. Happy Monday

I envy you your coming wet weather. I hope we will get some rain soon. As much as I love the spring-like weather we are enjoying right now, I do love the rain. I love the Sound of Love at First and am anxiously awaiting your thoughts on it, Kathryn! I hope you have a great week!

Looks like you had a great reading week! I have that Mary Marks series on my To Read list and I love the Allison Brook. I haven’t read anything by Moon though so many of her books are on my TBR. Hope you have a great week!

All your books look great. Hope you enjoyed Karen White’s book. I am eager to see the last Tradd Street come out at the end of these year, but sad to know there won’t be more.

I am glad things are returning to more normality for you. Hubby and I got our first vaccinations this week but were told to continue to maintain distancing for the foreseeable future. We still have a long way to go to get back to a different normal.
You had a good reading week and I hope you have another this week!

A sunny week sounds nice. We had a few snow flurries today, not much, but it’s been chilly. Looking forward to the sun returning. 🙂
Have an awesome week!
