It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

Wishing everyone in the USA a Happy Thanksgiving. I know many of you won’t be able to have a big Thanksgiving celebration, however I think the important thing at this point is for you and all your family to stay Covid free. And here’s to 2021 in a years time being far better.

What I read last week:

  1. I need to add Kamala Harris’s book to my to-read list! This month I’ve started reading Deacon King Kong and am enjoying it, although it took me a minute to get used to his writing style.

  2. Thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes. I agree – better to be COVID free and safe. Hopefully next year will be better. I love the looks of all your books especially Wrapped Up In Christmas Joy. I hope you have a great week. Enjoy your books!

  3. I’ve been wanting to try a book by Denton. Maybe in the new year as I want to finish the year with Christmas books from my kindle back list (I have a lot to choose from!). Have a good week, Kathryn.

    1. Well that’s a great goal Mary to get those Christmas back list books read on your Kindle. I am not sure where I heard about Lauren K Denton but looking at The Hideaway which I have from the library looks like good women’s fiction and heaps of people of GR have read it that I follow so here’s hoping.
