It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

badge
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.
Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

I seem to be mostly on a romance reading kick at the moment. Not intentional but that’s how it’s rolling. A mix of old and new books.

Thinking of you all in the USA with the turbulence happening there.  Take care all.

  1. Sounds like some comfort reading for you right now, Kathryn! Sometimes that’s just what you feel like! I’ve been taking my comfort in thrillers lately just because they have gripping plots that keep you immersed in the fictional world for a bit – again, just what I’ve been feeling like!

Hope you enjoy your books this week – thanks, as always, for hosting the link-up and helping us all to connect!

  2. I read my own copy of Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors last week and can’t wait to buy Recipe For Persuasion. I hope you love it and all of your reading this week, Kathryn. Thanks for your thoughts for us here in the US.

  4. Family for Beginners sounds wonderful. I think we need a book called America for Beginners. Instead of stimulus money, we could send it out to everyone here. We’d all have to sign off on it, with emphasis on the rights and responsibilities of our fellow citizens. Maybe we could get Mo Willems to write and illustrate it for us. Apparently, some of us are not clear on the rules we should be following for a civil society.

  5. I can’t believe how totally crazy it is across the country right now. Makes me want to stay in my little house and hide.

The Secret Armour looks good. The cover of White Lies is beautiful. Hope you enjoy your books.
