8 of them are contemporary fiction. 1 is historical fiction and 1 is fantasy/paranormal.

Reading Challenge Update:

We are at the one third mark in the year. I am keeping up with the audiobook and Modern Mrs Darcy challenge, but the library challenge is behind and I didn’t even read one library book this month.  Just keeping abreast of the audiobook challenge.

Top Book for April

This one was about older women, a book club where there was real discussion about real books. It was thought provoking and I grew to love the characters.

Main Reading Goal for May

Last month I wanted to pick a big book to read. Well I did the minimum and have earmarked Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. For May each week I want to read some of it.

  1. April was an awesome book month for you. I see most of the books you read are on my TBR, although I haven’t acquired them yet. I have to read a Shalvis book as I’ve seen only fabulous reviews on her work.

  2. You had a great reading month! A Month of Sundays sounds wonderful, and I would love to read the Kristin Hannah novel, too.

I have never read Lonesome Dove, either. Don’t forget my Big Book Summer Challenge starts at the end of May, and you only need to read 1 400+ page book between then and September to participate (even though for you it would be Big Book Winter!)

Hope you have another great reading month in May!

  3. Good month. I missed your comments on Month of Sundays. Now I am curious.
You have some summer books although I guess you are moving into autumn.
Enjoy all of your reading in May!

  4. What a lot of reading you did, quite a productive month! Your books all look good to me and I am adding A Month Of Sundays to my list. Have a wonderful week ahead! I loved the Cathy Lamb book btw.

  5. You had a great month, and I see some books I want to add to my shelves, although A Month of Sundays is probably not available here…sigh. The Robyn Carr looks good, and so does the Debbie Macomber.

    Enjoy your May books!
