Hope all those who celebrate Thanksgiving had happy celebrations. I can’t believe November finishes this week.
Last week I finally had installed a book case that I had been planning and desiring for a couple of years. Just had to get the joiners to do it. With building booming – smaller jobs are more difficult to get done. Anyway its nice to have it completed and now I need to move on to curtains and new furniture suite, but I am sure you all understand – a bookcase is always first! Now I can use the old bookcases in the back bedroom for quilting fabric!!
Hopefully I will have a good photo of it next week, light is too dark here to day because it is raining!
What I read last week:
I finished my reread and it remained a four star read as like the previous time. While rereading is something I desire to do, I look at all the books I have and I think … really I need to read some of those!
This is both a review book and book club book. Short review will be published.
I continue to listen to Anne Bishop’s Lake Silence, just have three hours to go. Am enjoying it and slowly becoming attached to Vicki and her cast of characters. It is a fantasy story I enjoy and the narrator is perfect for it.
What I am reading now:
I am starting this today, recommended from Trish at Between my Lines. So it came in from the library recently.

Congrats on getting your bookcase installed! It’s such a must to avid readers that we keep plenty of bookshelf space available. 🙂

I love bookcases! And…even more…I love arranging things on them. The only bad part is dusting them. I love that you reread…I am always anxious to get on to the next one!

I think I read all the Howatch books. I like the English setting, the Cathedral background and the so devious politicking that goes on in any big institution. I’ll ‘re read them anytime.

Congrats on the new bookshelf! I badly need one of those, but I don’t have space for another one. Right now, the books have to live wherever they fit. 🙂

I’m not familiar with these titles, but I understand the call to a book when signs multiply! Actually next year, at least for 1 book per month, I’d like to try this experiment: when I run into (in a blog, or in what other goodreads are reading right now, etc) a book that’s been on my TBR, read that one

I agree, bookcases are more important – LOL! Since I bought my new bedroom suite and have moved things around, I still need to get my bedroom organized but once I do, I will have space in the corner for a new bookcase! Yay!! Have a great week and have fun filling your shelves. I need to get back to The Other series!

Bookcases are an important piece of furniture. My husband put together two today for the dames who needed big girl ones for some time, especially the teen who had all of her books on the floor. How neater their rooms are now.
